Early morning we leave the Highlands. Heading to the full East by a winding road to reach Andasibe. Short stop at Marozevo to visit the Pereyras reserve and its endemic chameleons then continuing to Perinet. Arrival by late afternoon and settling in nice bungalows.
A day to visit the national park of Analamazaotra with a guide to observe the largest living lemur in the world, the Indri Indri in its natural environment. The park is also home to other animals such as reptiles and well as very beautiful plants.
After breakfast, back on the road, still eastwards to Manambato. After lunch, boat transfer to Akanin’ny Nofy. Free afternoon.
Palmarium reserve morning visit. You will discover several endemic species, both animal (including the rare lemur Aye-Aye, amphibians, reptiles …) and plant (orchids, carnivorous plants).
Boat transfer to Tamatave in this meandering channels dotted with typical east coast small villages. You’ll get another perspective of the Great Island: encounter with an amazing flora, river inhabitants herons … In the afternoon, walking tour of the market and the city port.
Transfer to airport and flight to Sainte Marie. Welcome by hotel staff. The rest of the day is free.
