From forests in the hearts of the great island, to lemurs walking feet in the sand on the splendid island of Nosy Komba. You will sure be captivated!
Departure for Fort Dauphin to lead you to Berenty private reserve to meet the sifaka, the famous dancer lemur with striped tail. For 40 years, this reserve is a scientific research centre of lemur, six different lemur species have been identified there, as well as 103 bird species and a totally endemic flora with its thorn forest.
Then starting again to lead you to one of the most beautiful place in the world, Nosy Komba island with its lemurs reserve.
Reception on arrival of the Paris flight and transfer to your hotel.
Transfer to the airport during the day and flight to Fort Dauphin. Welcome upon arrival, and transfer to your hotel. City tour and visit to the Botanical Garden at Saiadi.
Departure for the private reserve of Berenty. Traveling through huge expanses of green and offering a hot and humid climate specific to the East Coast. Crossing the mountainous barrier of Anosy through the Ranopiso mountain pass, and discovering the Deep South semi-arid landscape. Installation at the lodge.
Day to visit the reserve that is well known for its lemurs and birds, the sisal plant, and the Androy museum depicting the Antandroy people in their environment, their daily life and the history of the region showcasing archaeological research.
Back to Fort Dauphin. Remainder of the day free.
Transfer to airport and flight back to the capital. Welcome by your guide. Time allowing, opportunity to make a city tour around Tana.
Departure for Andasibe. Discovering the contrasting landscape between Antananarivo and the East Coast, the red brick Merina houses of the highlands and the green forests of the east. Stop on the way to visit Peyreras reserve, a breeding center housing different reptiles, amphibians and mammals … Arrival expected in the afternoon, transfer to hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Exploring the Special Reserve of Analamazaotra looking for the Indri Indri, the largest lemur. The park also offers lush vegetation showing other wonders of nature such as tree ferns or orchids (depending on the time of year). Visiting the Mantadia National Park in the afternoon.
Visiting the private park of Vakona Forest Lodge in the morning. Transfer to the railway station in the afternoon and embarking on the micheline (depending on feasibility). Departure to Tana at 14:00 for about 5 hours ride. Transfer to hotel on arrival.

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Nosy Be. Upon arrival, transfer to the port of Hellville and crossing on a speed boat to Nosy Komba, called “the island of lemurs.” Installation at the lodge. The rest of the day is free.
Discovering the park with red and black Macaco lemurs, ring-tailed lemurs, snakes, giant tortoises, small radiated tortoises and different bird species. Discovering also local handicrafts such as embroidered tablecloths, lace, wood carvings, shell necklaces …
Free day in Nosy Komba. Walks and swimming.
Boat transfer to the port of Nosy Be. Transfer to the airport and flight to Tana. City tour and souvenir shopping at the craft market on the dike road. Day use at a hotel near the airport and flight to Paris in the evening.
